I've been working as a paralegal/office manager for a little better than 5 years, and am about to relocate to Houston. I am very confident of my skills, and have no doubt I'll be able to find a good job quickly.
However, I have a non-traditional family structure, and am pagan. I would love to find a job in a law firm where I could feel free to be "out" in my choice of lifestyles. To that end, I'm looking for a law firm, preferably in criminal, civil rights or family law, that has a non-discriminatory hiring policy and will be as accepting as possibly on a social level.
